I thought I'd share this post from Simple Mom with you.
I honestly don't know what I'd do without my mornings to myself. Well, I do, actually. When I don't get this important time, I find myself short-fused, scattered, tired, and unmotivated. I've even been known to put Clare back to bed if she wakes up before I'm ready for her. :)

I am glad you posted this. I have been trying to figure out the best way to control some of the kid created chaos in the house. I am starting to be convicted that I need to get up early and get a jump start on the day. Which is the LAST thing I wanted to hear because I am SO not a morning person. I have struggled with this my whole life. But it is all about dying to self, right? :)
I guess I lucked out on this one, because I'm naturally a morning person. I realized, though, that I really have to balance this a bit. Is it pleasing to God when I get up early enough to make time with Him a priority? Yes. Is it pleasing to Him when that time gets cut shorter than I'd like because one of my babies needs me and I have a bad attitude about it? No. That's my struggle...It kind of drives me nuts that I'm going to have to work against certain faults my ENTIRE LIFE. Well, we're all in it together. Count on my prayers, Cheri.
