I wanted to share with you a terrific post from one of my favorite blogs, Building Cathedrals. It's a great blog run by a group of Catholic moms, and this particular post struck me in particular as a stay-at-home-mom who is striving to live in the world but not be of it.
I completely agree with everything she says in this post, and I'd love to hear your take on it!

Love the website too...enjoyed the post on bikinis as well. I overall agree with the theories and suggestions in this post....but got a lot of good insights by reading the comments as well. I do have to agree mostly with Mama On A Missions comments. I have met some very holy, Catholic FUNNY women who still liked the jean jumper look but were put together and clean etc. Their sense of "style" is just different from the latest fashion trents...which also in this society I tend to steer clear of mostly as well as for my daughters! I think that taking care of yourself in healthy and regular grooming practices is necessary out of respect for yourself, your husband and family, society adn most of all the beutiful body that God gave you. After that though, I think the kind of clothing, make up, accessories etc should all be up to each individuals preference, ability to afford and state in life with what they are comfortable in. I think sadly this is another situation in our society where so many judgements adn opinions are made about someone by the external package instead of meeting and getting to know the true person....however...all good food for thought!!! I also loved their post on family vacations, i link a lot of their posts on my website shared reading sidebar!!
Havent seen you ina while, sounds like you have been busy. Hope you are doing well!!
Yeah, I try to dress nicely... but lately I have been getting spit-up on all my clothes ;)I've already changed my clothes once today!
