Pictures from Clare's Baptism

Our little Clare became a Catholic yesterday! She was an angel...only crying at the beginning until I fed her for a few minutes during Father's homily. After that, she was awesome, and looked SO beautiful in the Baptism gown! Thank you so much to all the family and friends who were there at such an important moment in our daughter's life.

If you put the mouse over the picture you can see the captions. I think some of them may be hard to see because of the font color against the picture. And the lighting in the Church wasn't the best, so some of the pictures are a little dark. Oh well. Enjoy!

Congratulations! And welcome to one of the newest little members of the body of Christ!

I don't think that there is a better scent in the whole world than the baptism oil. Don't you agree?

Cheri, that's hilarious that you mentioned the smell of the Chrism! Tom and I loved it and I had to force myself to wash it off when I gave her a head-to-toe bath today after she puked ALL OVER both of us. Tom is dead-set on trying to buy some...but I think he may be disappointed, since I think Chrism is only for Sacramental use. : )

Yeah, I don't think you can buy it. That is, legally. If he's really interested I could hook him up with some via the catholic black market. But we're talking some serious $$$.

Congrats, though. Thats awesome that Jenny and Matt were Godparents. I Wish I could have been there!
