Welcome to our family, James Michael!

Many of you have already seen these photos because Tom was great at getting it all uploaded to Facebook while James and I rested after the labor and delivery experience. I thought I'd post them here, though, for those of you who (like me) do not have a Facebook account.

Without further ado, I'm proud to announce the newest member of the growing Herring family - James Michael. He was born on Tuesday, 9/29/09 at 6:33 PM after only 5 hours of labor, weighing 7 lbs. 15 oz. and 19 inches long.

Aunt Mary and cousin Gabriel were there too! Hard to believe that Gabriel is only 2 weeks old -- he looks HUGE compared to James! :)

Well, I was going to write a little about the labor experience with Round #2, but he's waking up and is looking for me. I'll write about it later. Thanks for all your prayers, everyone! We're doing well and loving just being at home. And Clare DOES love being a big sister as much as I had hoped.
